GIVEAWAY: Along Came You

Okay moms of daughters, this one is for you. Along Came You is about a mom who tells her little girl how her life has changed since motherhood. This heartwarming book chronicles what we go through when we take on the most important job of our lives, from how we decorate our house to how we eat our breakfast.

I came across this wonderful book through the book order club at my daughter's school. I ordered one copy for me, read it once and fell in love with it. I wanted to share it with my other mommy friends so I bought several more copies. It's one of those books that will leave a soft spot in your heart and will be a favorite bedtime read.

This giveaway isn't sponsored by an outside company, the author or the publisher.

I bought copies to give as gifts and I would like to share one copy with you.

You can enter three different ways. Do all three and increase your chances!

  1. I'm following from the Blog Frog and already knew I wanted to become a follower. You had a great suggestion on how to encourage independent play, and I can tell that you have lots of other creative suggestions/talents.

After motherhood, I suddenly realized that I was put on this earth for a purpose. Before I became a mom, I was caught up in the day-to-day trivialities of wanting to dress nice, earn money, advance my career, go on trips, buy nice furniture, go out on dates, and go out with my friends. My day to day life seemed empty; it didn't have purpose or meaning. Being a mom, however, gives my life meaning. It's not just about living anymore; it's about living for someone else. It's about waking up in the morning knowing that I have the power to influence my baby's day in such a profound way by doing simple things like being positive, supportive, nuturing, and making my baby the center of our universe. Before motherhood, I didn't know what it felt like to love someone unconditionally. Now, I can't imagine my life without this feeling.

  2. I am following you from the Blog Frog1 ;)

The thing that changed most about me when I had my daughter was that I was never alone again. Such a lovely blessing to have someone love me unconditionally no matter what I was or wasn't.

  8. I FB liked you. I hope I win, this book sounds wonderful. Every single day when I look at my princess I marvel at what a beautiful blessing she has been to me. She makes me a better person and gives my life a purpose. I have never known pure love like this before.
